[00:18.501]This album has been such a beautiful chapter of my life,
[00:21.520]both the writing and touring side of it.
[00:25.092]I thought it'd be cool to tell you guys a liltle bit more about the songs, you know?
[00:29.004]About what they mean to me, and mayble a liltle bit about the process behind it.
[00:33.356]As you might know, I wrote most of the album at an airbnb in Echo Park L.A.
[00:38.220]No fancy studio or expensive equipment,
[00:40.764]Just a laptop, some old tape machine and a bunch of guitars.
[00:45.483]Often times surrounded by beautiful genuine people.

[00:55.782]With album one I really wanted to bring back the guitar in my music.
[01:01.520]I studied guitar, I used to play guitar in bands, I was a guitar teacher for many years.
[01:07.189]But when I started producing music as San Holo, I kind of stop playing.
[01:11.579]Because I was just so inspired by the entire electronic music world,
[01:15.802]And instead of a guitar I grabed, a keyboard or drump machine to express myself.
[01:20.749]However I really started to miss the sound and five guitars.
[01:24.748]And one night on tour, I was messing around on my guitar, 'cause I was feeling kind of weird,
